Ray Ban + Facebook
When BUCK asks if you can help on a project, you can’t help but say yes! BUCK is one of the premiere agencies in the video and animation space and are known for their award winning work. So it was an honor to get a chance to work with them and their incredible team.
We signed on to help with the text animation for the Ray Ban and Facebook smart glasses launch video. The job included coming up with fun, smooth text animations for the various title cards and text call outs that would appear during the video. It required a lot of R&D and trying a variety of techniques to get something that felt seamless and inline with the overall design language. We went through dozens of variation and iterations before reaching the final product, and we are so pleased with the results.
Throughout this process the BUCK team was incredible to work with, and I can’t wait to collaborate with them in the future.
Above and below is a small sample of the finished designs that we developed. Some of these made it to the final cut of the video and some were cut early on in the R&D process. In the areas that you see 3D renders, those pieces were done by the internal BUCK team.
